DMF is used as a reaction medium in synthetic dye production, improving reaction efficiency and yield.

Used for swelling, wetting, and softening fibers, DMF improves dye uptake and uniformity.

Acts as a solvent and additive in dyeing baths, facilitating dye penetration into fibers, controlling viscosity.
